Skeer

Privacy policy

Last updated: [date of publication]

Skeer is a personal account-keeping and bill-splitting app made by ProActive Developers & Business Solution Pvt. Ltd (“ProActive Developers”, “we”). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it.

The short version: everything you record in Skeer stays on your phone. Skeer has no server, no account and no analytics, and we never receive any of your information.

What Skeer stores, and where

Skeer stores what you enter: your accounts and their balances, your transactions and notes, your categories, the names of the people you split bills with, the bills themselves, and your settings (currency, theme colour, language). It is kept in a database in the app’s private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read.

The names of people you split bills with are ones you type in. Skeer does not read your contacts or address book, and does not ask permission to.

What leaves your phone

Nothing, unless you send it. This version of Skeer cannot connect to the internet: it does not request network access at all. It sends nothing to us or to anyone else, and it contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking code.

Information leaves your phone only when you choose to send it:

What we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal information, because none of it ever reaches us.

Children

Skeer is not directed at children under 13, and it collects nothing from anyone.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Skeer deletes everything it stored on your phone. Copies you exported or shared, and your phone’s own backups, are yours to delete where you put them.

Changes to this policy

If Skeer ever begins to send information anywhere, this policy will change before that version is released, and the date at the top will change with it.
